Information About the Exam:
Kayseri University Continuing Education Application and Research Center (KAYSEM) organizes the “Turkish Proficiency Exam” for foreign nationals in order to prepare the “Turkish Proficiency Certificate” required for associate, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs at universities. This exam is an exam applied to foreign nationals who want to document their use of the Turkish language. The Turkish Proficiency Exam is administered to learn the language features at levels A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1 specified in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The Turkish Proficiency Exam is an exam that aims to measure the four basic language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking). The exam consists of written exams consisting of reading, writing and listening. After this, a one-on-one (face-to-face) speaking exam is administered. Candidates participating in the Turkish Proficiency Exam are distributed according to Table 1, separately for “reading, writing, listening and speaking” and out of one hundred (100) points. The table with the recorded score ranges according to the four skills that can be obtained as a result of the exam is prepared by KAYSEM within 15 days and delivered to the person in 2 languages.
